We were not intimate friends, but as he and his family lived on the same flore of the Woodward Building as I did, and as he did the janitor work around my store, I naturally knew him and his folds and appreciated him as a man who loved his family.
His past habits-sober, industrious.
Honest-Absolutely honest.
Associates-Honest hared working men.
Disposition-Gentlemanly, mild, easy-going
General behavior-Very Good.

He is one of those honest, hard-working men that do not seem to get ahead mainly on account of lack of education, and consequent misdirected efforts.
