J. P. JOHNSON,
CLERK

The Warden of the Minnesota State Prison,
Stillwater, Minnesota.

Dear Sir:
In handing you herewith the Commitment in the case of State of Minnesota VS Max Mason, I beg to call your attention to the order of Judge Nelson dated July 30th, directing the issuance of this commitment, and to also say that the commitment is not accompanied by a synopsis of the testimony given at the trial of this case for the reason that the testimony has not as yet been transcribed by the official Court reporter.
This is due to the fact that an appeal to the Supreme Court is pending in this case. The reporter who took the testimony in the case advises me that he will communicate with Judge Nelson at once to obtain his order as to what particular testimony to send you in this case.
Just as soon as the transcript is furnished me, I will send it to you promptly.

Yours very truly
J. P. JOHNSON, Clerk.
