Celebrate the Coronation of King Charles III at the Snake River Fur Post

The once-in-a-lifetime event will be full of lively English country dance

PINE CITY, Minn (April 25, 2023) – The Minnesota Historical Society is excited to extend an invitation to a once-in-a-lifetime celebration in honor of the historic coronation of King Charles III at the Snake River Fur Post

The Coronation Ball, highlighted by an evening of lively English country dance, will take place on Saturday, May 6. Doors open at 6:30 pm, and the first set of six dances will begin at 7:00pm.

Dance steps will be taught and called at the ball. Attendees who are new to country dance should plan to arrive at 6:30 to receive basic instructions. A short intermission for refreshments will be scheduled between sets. Period or semi-formal attire is requested.
