Dear Sir:-
I am writing you in regard to Mr Louis Dondino who is now serving a term in your prison. I understand Mr Dondino’s case may be considered by the Parole Board in the near future, and in this connection I simply desire to put in a good work for Mr Dondino, and trust that his case may be favorable acted upon when it comes up for consideration. I have personally known Mr Dondino for over twelve years, and while he may have made a mistake which he is now suffering from, I feel that he has allready (sic) received his lesson and have no doubt but that he will conduct himself as a good law abiding citizen hereafter, and with exeption (sic) of this one act which has been charged against him, I have allways (sic) known him to be a good honost (sic) and hardworking man.
I also feel very sorry for his old parents. They are very old and of course, they feel it very hard. I don’t think either one of them will live very long knowing their son to be in prison. I sincerely trust that the Parole Board may favorable consider Mr Dondino’s application in order that it may lift the shadow of sorrow from his old parents and that they may enjoy the rest of the days of their life in peace and happiness.
