MNHS Press author Pete Kero will sign copies of his book Minescapes: Reclaiming Minnesota's Mined Lands.

Pete is an environmental engineer who has consulted with public agencies, mining companies, and communities for nearly three decades on land restoration and reclamation.

Minescapes outlines the recent environmental history of Minnesota's Iron Range; it includes Hibbing native Pete Kero's family connections to that history, as well as his personal involvement in successful projects such as the Redhead Mountain Bike Park in Chisholm.
